The Turnover Meeting of the Association has been scheduled for March 28, 2024 at 6:00pm in the Large Meeting Room.

You will be receiving the notice in the mail shortly and the information is also copied below.

There will be one additional Homeowner Board Member appointed to the Board. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please see the Intent to be a Candidate form in the button below.

NOTICE OF ELECTION TURNOVER MEETING OF EAGLE CREEK TO ELECT A HOMEOWNER BOARD DIRECTOR

THURSDAY, MARCH 28, 2024

An Election Turnover Meeting will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 6:00pm  in the Recreation Center, Large Meeting Room, at 10180 Eagle Creek Center Blvd., Orlando, FL 32832.

The purpose of this meeting is to elect a homeowner Board Director and transfer control of the Association from Developer to Homeowner.

As a Lot Owner, you are a Class “A” Member of the Homeowners Association of Eagle Creek (“Association).

Class “A” Members may attend this meeting but will not be counted toward quorum or be allowed to vote. The Village Representative elected for your Village will be required to attend and cast a vote on behalf of your Village.

At the Election Turnover Meeting, Village Representatives (The Membership) will cast a vote to; Elect one (1) homeowner Board Member.

A Board member must be a Lot Owner in any Village and must also meet all other statutory eligibility requirements for Board membership (e.g. felony issues and being current in monetary obligations to the Association). If you are interested in serving as a Board Member, please provide all requested information on the Intent to Be a Candidate For The Board of Directors form and return to Kelly Willson at 10180 Eagle Creek Center Blvd., Orlando, FL 32832 or by e-mail to eaglecreekadmin@community–mgmt.com.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with the Bylaws of the Association and the Florida Statutes, that the ORGANIZATIONAL AND SPECIAL MEETING OF THE BOARD will be held at the following date, time, and place:

a. Calling of the roll

b. Proof of notice of meeting or waiver of notice

c. Removal and Appointment of Board Directors and Officers

d. Consideration for adopting resolution proposed by Village Representatives on December 13, 2023

e. Consideration of changing reimbursement limit for Directors and Officers pursuant to Bylaws Section 6.3

f. Consideration of fully funding the 2024 Insurance payment in order to avoid accruing monthly interest obligations

g. Consideration of providing Directors, Officers, Management and their personnel and employees with official association email addresses which must be used for all association matters and restricting/prohibiting the use of personal emails with respect to such matters

h. Ratify Action Items

i. Collections Approval

j. Committee Member Appointments-Budget Committee

k. Any other matters that come before the Board
